FOOD-AWARE’s Kick-off Meeting was successfully held at Doukas School in Athens, Greece on 14-15 of January of 2019 at the begining of the project.
It was a fruitful meeting for everyone since the initial planning of the work and effort took place. Partners also had the chance to discuss and collaborate in the context of the intellectual outputs. Many opinions were expressed, and partners made the relevant decisions naming a partner that will lead each important activity. The milestones of the project implementation were set and agreed upon by all participating members. As Output 1 was already ongoing, Doukas School presented its initial plan to coordinate partners collective effort in order to achieve the optimal result for all target groups involved (teacher trainers, teacher, educators). Each partner presented its ideas for the training module they will be leading, and further discussions took place until all parties were satisfied and the overall coherence of the modules was guaranteed. During the meeting partners also had the chance to organise and plan for the next meeting that will be hosted by FARM-ADVISORY in Poland (June 2019) which will be important in order to finalise the work done during the next 6 months. Finally, the dissemination plan and the quality assurance plan were presented by the organisations leading those activities (PROPEL, ISEKI) and agreed upon.
