In the context of the TEASPILS project, and at one of the partner schools, Doukas School, an expert on plants visited the premises and presented students with interesting facts and knowledge on how to care for the indoor plants. Students were engaged in several discussion topics such as “where there any indoor plants in nature?”, “Do plants help reduce noise, and if yes how?”, etc.

Plant expert, Mr. Nikolaos Kokkinos, with a bachelor degree from the Agricultural University of Athens and currently a business consultant, had the opportunity to present to 8th graders from Doukas School interesting facts and info about indoor plants in general and their caretaking needs. Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to ask their own questions, engage in further discussions, and ask for help on how to take good care of the indoor plants they have in their possession, at their school premises, as part of the TEASPILS project.

The event was organized by members of the Doukas School TEASPILS project team, and more specifically by Mrs. M. Mpalafouti and Mrs. E. Tsevi, both French teachers, with the support of the project managers and researchers from the Innovation and Research Department of Doukas School. Mr. T. Oikonomou and Mrs. E. Margariti.
