A team of members from the Innovation and Research (R&I) Department of Doukas School (Greece), and more specifically, the project manager, coordinator, and researcher Thomas Oikonomou, and project manager and researcher Elpiniki Margariti were invited as members of the ONLIFE – “Empower hybrid Competences for Onlife Adaptable Teaching in School Education in times of pandemic” project at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.
The project partners were invited by the Member of the European Parliament (MEP), Costas Mavrides, who is representing the EU member state, Cyprus. The event was held in the 3rd floor of the main building of the European Union Parliament on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 with the participation of representatives from all partner organizations.
Doukas Team and MEP Mr. Costas Mavrides agreed that education is a topic to be on the focus and thus agreed to collaborate in the future by keeping Mr. Mavridis on the loop and informed about similar projects to be implemented by the consortium or by some of its members in the future.

This was an important for the project activity, as the project aims to bring change to the way teachers organize and implement online learning, and to do that, it is important to obtain the support of policy makers who, with their actions will support the change it self and create an environment capable of fostering it.
