The ERASMUS+ RoboSTEAMkids project held a highly successful teacher training event from May 20 to May 24, 2024, in Nicosia. This event brought together dedicated teachers and staff members from partner organizations, fostering collaboration and enhancing the project’s educational impact.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in a series of workshops (modules) and interactive sessions designed to refine and finalize the training content for the RoboSTEAMkids project. The training focused on integrating robotics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education into kindergarten and lower primary education school curricula, aiming to inspire and equip educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to implement innovative teaching methods.

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the training and its practical applications in the classroom. Participants shared their insights and suggestions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the training materials and ensuring they meet the diverse needs of educators across different regions.

The event also served as a platform for networking and exchanging best practices among educators from various backgrounds, further strengthening the community of practice within the ERASMUS+ RoboSTEAMkids project.

As the training concluded, the project team expressed their gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and constructive feedback. The insights gained from this event will be instrumental in finalizing the RoboSTEAMkids training content, ensuring it is both effective and adaptable to different educational contexts.

The ERASMUS+ RoboSTEAMkids project team looks forward to continuing this collaborative journey and is committed to supporting teachers in bringing innovative STEAM education to classrooms across Europe.
