During summer 2026, DATA-READY partners continued translating the European Data Literacy Framework into practical learning modules for future and practising teachers.
Building on the first course prototypes developed at the Mainz project meeting in May, the consortium advanced two complementary learning offers: a course for higher-education students in pedagogical departments and continuing professional development for in-service teachers.
The work focuses on adaptable modules that connect the Framework with teacher education and classroom practice. These will form the basis for subsequent testing and refinement in the partner countries.
This development marks the project’s next step from framework validation towards practical support for educators integrating data literacy into compulsory education.
